How It All Started!

Libbi was 12 and Nik was 13 when they first met, so they’ve known each other for 7yrs now and consider themselves to be practically sisters!! (Which means she pinches all my clothes! - Nik )They first met when they were both taking part in a youth performance project in their local town of Barnsley. Both girls wanted to be singers and dancers from an early age and having so much in common became fast friends. (Even though nik stinks,tee hee! - Libbi )

A few years later the terrible twosome, now best buds (and still as stinky!! - Libbi), were at a street dance studio when they noticed a very funky new girl at the other side of the class. Lib thought it would be nice to go over and get to know her (Which meant she wanted to go weigh up the competition - Nik) The girls got chatting and it turned out Leanne went to the same school as Libbi and she was really cool.

It was from that moment that the terrible twosome started to become the Kookie Sisterhood.

The girls have stuck together through thick and thin and have become closer over the past couple of years singing and performing together! (Yes, we did do the hairbrush in front of the mirror thing, but don’t tell anyone! – Leanne)
